This site goes far beyond just the TIDD family.  I began my research about 25 
years ago, when living in England and research meant trips to London and going 
through pages of dusty old volumes.  Upon moving to North America I left my 
research behind and a few years ago rediscovered it when cleaning out my 
parents` house.  In early 2002 I was browsing the internet for 
information on my mother`s side of the family, not included here, but an 
equal number of names, and got hooked.  In a short time I have discovered 
several distant relatives around the world, all engaged in genealogical research 
and from a few names and certificates it has grown to what you see here.

If you find a name of interest to you, please do contact me, I have much more 
information than I am able to place on this website.  I am constantly adding
people, photographs and short biographical notes, so keep checking back.

Please do not take any of this information as gospel!!  I have tried to verify 
all information and each name is backed up by sources to varying extents.  In 
addition typos do creep in and transferring the complete GEDCOM file in one go 
to this site, means that I have had to check each entry to verify that it copied  
correctly.  Guaranteed, I`ve missed some!!
